A group of Year 8 students visited AES Seals in Rotherham. AES Seals are one of the leading companies in the design and manufacture of mechanical seals and support systems. The day was designed to be an introduction to the life of an engineer and the vast opportunities that this profession can offer - targeted at girls as there is a massive shortfall in female engineers across the world.

The students took part in engineering activities, quizzes, site tours, interviewed current engineers and were given an opportunity to feel what it is like to be in a workplace. They were fantastic ambassadors and enthusiastic in all activities.
