The Sheffield FC Scholarship programme is a unique opportunity for talented 16 - 18 year old footballers to secure a realistic pathway into semi-professional football whilst studying at Maltby Academy. There is provision for both male and female teams. Sheffield FC is the world's first football club!

The provision includes:

WORK BASED QUALIFICATIONS

• Community Sports Leaders Award - Level 2
• First Aid
• FA Level 1 Coaching
• Safeguarding

Plus support to attain another National GB coaching qualification.

ACADEMIC STUDY

• BTEC Level 3 or
• A Level

SPORTING QUALIFICATIONS OFFER

• BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma - Equivalent to one A Level
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Equivalent to two A Levels
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma - Equivalent to three A Levels
• AS/A2 Physical Education - One option to be combined with other AS level qualifications
